This year, the Salon du Vintage pays tribute to the seventh art through the presentation of iconic fashion and furniture pieces seen in the great classics of cinema.
When cinema meets the great names of design… This results in creative clashes, to the delight of visitors.
Unique in its kind, the exhibition initiated by Laurent Journo, the creator of the Salon du Vintage, presents rare pieces, sometimes never exhibited and brought together for the first time.
Thus, we will find the seats of Olivier Mourgue for the film “2001 Space Odyssey” by Stanley Kubrick, the dresses of Azzedine Alaïa who dressed the icon of the 80s Grace Jones in the James Bond film “Dangereusement Vôtre” with Roger Moore. Costumes and furniture from “Lalaland“, “The Devil Wears Prada“, “Clockwork Orange“, “The Wolf of Wall Street“, “The Tall Blond Guy” will also be presented during this exhibition, in a scenography realized by the House Anouschka.
And in the main roles of the Vintage Fair, various exhibitors :
A design furniture and decoration area
Design lovers, a wide selection of dealers from all over Europe will offer you design furniture from the 60’s to the 90’s with designers who have marked history: Pierre Paulin, Eero Saarinen, Verner Panton, Charles & Ray Eames, Gaetano Sciolari, Michel Dumas, Willy Rizzo…
Thousands of collectible pieces at affordable prices, between lighting fixtures, enfilades and small iconic decorative objects.
An original luxury and fripe-chic space
Looking for a vintage Birkin Hermès? Yves Saint Laurent earrings or a vintage Chanel suit? The salon is “The Place to Go”. A wide range of exceptional designer pieces from Courrèges, Kenzo, Chanel, not to mention leather goods and jewelry from Cartier or Louis Vuitton will make buyers’ eyes shine.
A pop culture and urban space
You will also be able to admire sublime Classic Cars, play on retro arcade terminals or leave with cult 33 and 45 rpm records…
The Vintage Fair, an ecological and responsible event!
The Vintage is above all second hand, allowing us to rethink our way of consuming in a socially responsible and sustainable way: each object or vintage piece sold is carbon neutral as well as the organization of the show itself by limiting its production in CO2.
So come and experience a moment of shopping, aesthetic, nostalgic, ecological on a soundtrack resolutely optimistic 70’s and 80’s.
