Etienne Daho

Four years after Etienne Daho’s “Les Chansons de l’innocence retrouvée”, a bright-obscure-murky-London style masterpiece conceived with cinematographic grace in collaboration with Francis Bacon & the Kray ce Diskönoir brothers and which led him to a dedicated tour, he was ready for a new challenge. “Blitz”, the so-called “blitzkrieg” is a revenge to all the struggles he went through the last years, a result of his intact motivation and an evidence of his brilliant inspiration. As demonstrated during his (almost) forty-year career of pop funambulism, this additional album is one of the most adventurous one perceived as both, a high-flying psychedelic fresco and compilation of romantic ballads (e.g. “Les Flocons de l’été”, “L’Etincelle”) and reveals the well-known French elegance of which Daho is the undisputed sovereign.
